We drove over to Soldotna today to visit the wildlife refuge. After checking out the visitor’s center, we took one of the hikes. It was to a lake and then through a forest. The trail was covered with wood chips that made it feel like walking on pillows. We hoped to see some wild life but we didn’t see anything. We did go out to eat dinner. We had a restaurant recommended to us at the visitor’s center but you never know when you are being sent to a dive. Well, this recommendation was great. We both ate king crab and it was one of the better meals we have had eating out in Alaska.
