Last Day in Telkeetna

We spent all morning doing stuff on the internet. In the afternoon we walked into town so that Leslie could look at some sweaters she had seen. This time of year is a good one if you want to buy tourist clothing in Alaska. All of the shops have signs that say, “50% Off Sale.” Well, this worked for Leslie as she bought a sweater for 50% off. After that we walked down the street and got ice cream. I love ice cream and this is the first time since we left home that we have had ice cream. Yum! Then we walked back to the trailer. I renamed the road, formerly known as the Telkeetna Spur, as Rain Way. We got rained on as we walked. Every time we have walked back to the trailer along this road we have been rained on. Not else to report except we leave in the morning for Denali. The campground there will not have internet so we will be out of touch for a while.
